Pastor Lee - Biography

LThe Rev. Jeffrey A. Lee was born on October 4, 1957 at Luverne, MN, the son of Lester and Donna (Peterson) Lee. He attended schools in Luverne and Worthington, MN until he graduated in January of 1976 from Worthington Sr. High. After graduation, he joined the U.S. Navy and served from February 1976 to February 1980 as a Hospital Corpsman stationed at the Naval Regional Medical Center in Great Lakes, IL.

Pastor Lee married Gail Meyer on July 9, 1977 at St. John Lutheran Church in Rushmore, MN. Pastor Lee and Gail have 4 adult Children; Jessica (Tom) Thompsen of Brainerd, MN, Cori Lee of Blaine, MN, Brian (Stephanie) Lee of Plymouth, MN, and Sarah (Peter) Rinderknecht of New Braunfels, TX. Pastor and Gail have 14 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Pastor Lee holds a Bachelors of Arts from Concordia University of St. Paul, MN, a Masters of Divinity from Concordia Theological Seminary in Ft. Wayne, IN. Pastor Lee did his Vicarage at Trinity Lutheran Church in Seymour, TX under the supervision of Rev. Gerald Thiele. He has served St. John Lutheran Church in Madison, NE 1987-1990, St. Paul Lutheran Church in Winside, NE from 1990 to 1994, King of Glory Lutheran Church in Blaine, MN from 1994 to 2003, St. Paul Lutheran Church in Pipestone, MN from 2003 to 2007, Joy Lutheran Church in Cambridge, MN from 2007 to 2014 and as the Mission and Ministry Facilitator for the Minnesota North District of The LCMS from 2014 to 2023. While serving the Minnesota North District, Pastor Lee also served as the Minnesota North District Vice President for the Lutheran Church Extension Fund from 2020 to 2022.
